For the first time Divya Loka representatives visited the cultural center "Tibet House" (New York) on December 8, 2011. There they met with its President - Robert Thurman, who gave them a tour around the exhibition center.

Mr. Thurman is a professor at Columbia University, Buddhist, a famous writer and public figure. He is also a father of famous actress Uma Thurman. During the visit, there was an open friendly dialogue of different religions representatives.

Mr. Robert Thurman and Swami Vishnudevananda Giri met at the International Congress "Global Future 2045" in June 2013 in New York, where they took part in two round-tables "Interreligious dialogue about science, spirituality and evolution of mankind" and "Science and religion. " Mr. Thurman continued communication, proposing to use the "Tibet House" for public lectures of Swami Ji. The course of lectures given by Swami gathered a large audience interested in yoga and philosophy of Advaita Vedanta, both the Americans and the Russians living in the United States.
