Yoga is a profound part of the Vedic culture. Yoga practices underlie at the heart of all Hinduism (Sanskrit "Sanatan Dharma") schools. Sanatana Dharma means "the eternal law" - the law of all beings’ evolution.

Advaita is an ancient doctrine that tells us about human nature as divine initially. "Advaita" can be translated as "not two". Soul is not separated from God. God is a reality that permeates everything.

Meeting with Swami Satyananda Saraswati

In May 2013 in Santa Susanna (Spain) Swami Vishnudevananda Giri and some of the representatives of the Center met with Satyananda Saraswati. He is a teacher in tradition of Advaita Vidya, and a student of Swami Muktananda. He studied for a long time in India, and then returned to Spain, where he gives lectures and organizes retreats.

At the meeting, Swami Satyananda said he was pleasantly surprised to learn of the existence of Divya Loka, and proposed to build a similar ashram together in Spain; the center where Advaita followers could live and be engaged in spiritual practice. Swami was invited to participate in the upcoming Congress of Advaita Vedanta in Moscow.
