Yoga is a profound part of the Vedic culture. Yoga practices underlie at the heart of all Hinduism (Sanskrit "Sanatan Dharma") schools. Sanatana Dharma means "the eternal law" - the law of all beings’ evolution.

Ведический центр "Меру"

On July 2013 as a part of the cultural dialogue project, Divya Loka representative visited the Vedic Center (ashram) «Meru», located in the national park in The Hague (Netherlands).

The center was built by the disciples of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He is one of the most famous spiritual teachers in India. He transmitted to humans of the West Vedic knowledge and the method of a transcendental meditation. He founded the Maharishi Vedic University and the universities of "Maharishi Ayurveda" around the world to give people a way to understand the laws of nature to achieve excellence in all fields of human activity.

There is an Academy in the center, where they study traditional Vedic disciplines: jyotish, vaastu, and ayurveda. About 60 monks and many lay students from all over the world live in the center. There are conference rooms, where video lectures are on, and lessons and scientific conferences are held. The two centers have shared their experience on their work and social activities, and made a good friendly contact.
