Yoga is a profound part of the Vedic culture. Yoga practices underlie at the heart of all Hinduism (Sanskrit "Sanatan Dharma") schools. Sanatana Dharma means "the eternal law" - the law of all beings’ evolution.
Advaita is an ancient doctrine that tells us about human nature as divine initially. "Advaita" can be translated as "not two". Soul is not separated from God. God is a reality that permeates everything.
Divya Loka representatives visited Sripuram - place of famous Golden Temple and golden statue of Lakshmi goddess.
This temple was founded Sri Shakti Amma - a saint who is the reincarnation and avatar of Narayani, the quintessence of the three goddesses - Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswati. As a child, the flowers dropped at him, at the age of 16 a pillar of light emanated from his chest, which projected into the sky goddess Narayani.
Sri Amma had predicted that on September 11th, 1992 at 6 p.m. there would be an emergence of Swayambhu (self-arisen) Lingam. At the specified time, in front of thousands of people a crack appeared in the land, and, followed by the sound of thunder, came out the Lingam. A few years later, on January 9th, in that very place the ceremony of the sanctification of the temple construction in which the self-arisen Lingam was placed.
In some places the temple is covered with 13 layers of gold. Overall there were 3 tons of gold spent on temple’s finishing. The entire project was designed by Sri Amma, he also took control of the construction process. Narayani sculpture was cast from a single 70 pound piece of gold.
For the representatives of the “Center of Vedic culture” there was organized a tour of the temple, including the barn, where 900 cows provide daily feeding to about ten thousand pilgrims and parishioners.
Compassionate and respectful attitude towards animals here affects everyone - when visiting the barn everyone must take their shoes off and wash their feet in a solution of manganese acid. After the tour there was organized a meeting with Sri Amma.
Representatives of the Divya Loka offered the saint the holy image of sacred symbols Ashtamangala.
Sri Amma spoke about the value of Sanatana Dharma, that it respects all beliefs that it has all the answers to all the questions, due to the knowledge of reincarnation and karma. He also talked about the importance of the principle of service.
"When you serve and give, the soul becomes blissful. Once, after learning this particular joy, the soul will remember it forever and will always strive for it."- says Sri Amma.
At the end of the conversation avatar Sri Narayani personally cooked dinner for the guests and invited them to a feast in their suites.
Vedic culture is based on the Universe laws of evolution described in the scriptures of Hinduism "Vedas". They guide a human life, leading to harmony, happiness and creative prosperity.
