Community service

Striving for self-improvement through the practice of yoga, the study of ancient scriptures, as well as directly deal with the environment, representatives of the Center for Vedic Culture "Divya Loka" are always ready to provide assistance to those in need.

In addition to educational activities, cultural events, introducing the practice of yoga to the people across Russia, America and Europe, the Centre representatives support their closest neighbors.

Collaborating with the Vetluga administration, the Center installed a wooden gazebo of a classic style in the city, as well as brought a sculpture and a vase as subjects of landscape design, currently adorning one of the city squares.

Since 2008, the Center "Divya Loka" participates in the celebration of the Village day on Elijah's day in one of the nearby villages - Pustosh. Every year the Center assists in conducting such contests as "Man of the Year" (in which you select a person who takes an active part in social activities), " The Man Who Changed his fate for the better", "Wonderful Corner" (a competition for the best designed plot of land), "Shining purity" (a competition for the well-kept and clean plot), "Minute of Fame" - a creative contest.

For many years Divya Loka has supported a local branch of All-Russian Society for the Blind situated in the town of Uren, The Center assists in holding a monthly event of "White cane", and other activities of the organization. The Center’s help is appreciated.

From a few tumbledown rural houses gradually the Center turned into a surprisingly beautiful landscaping place, attracting for excursions not only residents of nearby villages, but also the neighboring cities of Nizhny Novgorod and Kostroma regions. The friendly and sociable Center representatives are always ready to spend a tour around the temple complex, talk about the Vedic culture and yoga. Many visitors who come to tour leave their grateful responses, wishing prosperity and further development to the Centre.

The Center "Divya Loka" pays a great attention to this kind of activity, planning to provide its assistance to those who need it.
